Regininha Poltergeist despontou para a fama em 1990 nos espetáculo “Santa Clara Poltergeist”, de Fausto Fawcett, no papel de uma santa com o poder de curar as pessoas por meio do sexo. Agora, convertida à igreja evangélica Bola de Neve há um ano e quatro meses, ela afirma não se sentir culpada e diz que sente perdoada por Deus: ”Não me sinto mais culpada porque fiz a libertação. Sou um milagre, um presente. Perdi tudo e comecei do zero“.

Cada vez mais envolvida com a igreja, a ex-modelo integra o Ministério da Dança da instituição religiosa, onde dá aulas de hip hop, dança contemporânea e balé clássico. “Ensinamos esses ritmos sem sensualidade, que é coisa do diabo”.
Quando o assunto é o amor, Regininha diz que aguarda um companheiro, a quem se refere como “varão de Deus” e conta que fez voto de castidade após se converter ao Evangelho. “Sexo só depois do casamento. Já tenho uma pessoa em vista na igreja, mas rezo todos os dias para Deus me mostrar se é a pessoa certa. A gente sai para jantar, vai para as festinhas, mas só depois que estiver namorando é que pode beijar e com o consentimento da pastora“.

Fiquei muito triste em saber que a Regininha Poltergeist voltou pra velha vida. O Senhor Jesus disse, na parábola do semeador, que haverá alguns que se converterão através da emoção e, por ser através da emoção que “nasceram”, morrerão quando a emoção passar. Parece que foi o que aconteceu com ela. Num dos seus testemunhos ela disse que não se arrependia nem um pouco do que fez no passado. Isso é complicado, pois Jesus disse: “Arrependei-vos e crede no evangelho”. Não há conversão verdadeira sem arrependimento. Paulo diz em Atos 17 que Deus notifica aos homens que se arrependam – há uma versão que diz que Deus ordena aos homens que se arrependam. Fiquei muito triste mesmo em saber que mais uma pessoa que poderia usar a sua vida para fins sublimes voltará a se destruir e a destruir muitas vidas, tudo por dinhiro, para, no fim, ser condenada ao inferno (1 Co 6). Lamentável. Resta-nos orar por ela e por tantos outros que passaram pela mesma experiência.
